We have a pix IPsec fw and Cisco does not have a 64 bit Windows IPsec client. I tried installing the VPN client onto our freshly downloaded 64bit Enterprise and low and behold I get the dreaded "Windows 64bit is not supported" message from the Cisco client installer. So, I made the mistake of thinking W7 Enterprise should work too, but neglected to realize the latter is 64bit while I have been doing all my testing with32bit. I have been testing the eval version (W7 Ultimate) for over a yr and all of our apps work. So, here I am, sitting at my desk just about ready to tell the boss I am ready to deploy our first W7 Enterprise 64bit laptop and then I decide that since this is a laptop user I will install the VPN client and test it from home.
